As a legal tender offering by Cook Islands, the obverse displays the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. A very distinctive beaded pattern fills the background. The inscriptions at the rim include, "ELIZABETH II . 10 DOLLARS . COOK ISLANDS . Ag 999 . 2021 . 2oz."

The reverse features a remarkably powerful depiction of Batman standing on the wharf, with the skyline of Gotham City in the background. His cape is caught in the breeze, revealing its resemblance to actual bat wings. His uncanny strength is displayed in his muscular bulk. In his left hand he clutches a batarang ready for business.

The most distinctive aspect of this active scene is the expression on Batman's face. This is what vengeance looks like. The antiqued finish is very effective in creating a depth of field, as well as highlighting key features of the design. The selective 24k gold gilding is applied to his bat symbol displayed on the chest of his costume and the inscription "BATMAN" at the top left rim.
