Each bar has 1 troy ounce of .9999 pure gold and comes in a certi-lock assay, featuring the bar's unique serial number, assayer's mark, and the weight and purity of the bar.

The design is quite nice, featuring the Scottsdale Marquee Lion design, with inscriptions "Scottsdale Gold 1 Troy Oz .9999 Gold." The reverse features the logo for the Scottsdale and Argor-Heraeus partnership. Also featured on the reverse are the weight and purity of the gold and the assayer's (Melter Assayer) mark.
