On either side of the eagles displays the motto of the US, “E PLURIBUS UNUM'' and “IN GOD WE TRUST." The motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM” stands for “Out of many, One.” Other inscriptions include “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “1OZ. FINE GOLD ~25 DOLLARS.”
