The obverse side of the bar glorifies the symbol of the United States of America, the American bald eagle engraved on the top of the bar. The reverse of the Silver 100 oz CNT Eagle Bar is intentionally left blank, as the pouring method of production results in a unique texture for each bar. To preserve the bar's manufacturing simplicity, authenticity, and character, the reverse is usually left blank with a unique plain rough casting texture.

Why are the Poured Bars left blank on the reverse?

The poured bars are manufactured by pouring hot molten silver into the molds. Each mold gives each bar a rustic and unique texture, especially the side in contact with the mold, which is the reverse. The reverse is kept untouched in order to maintain the bars, manufacturing simplicity, smoothness, and stackability among multiple bars. Furthermore, designing the reverse increases the cost of production of the Mint by creating more complex molds that would require additional labor! Ultimately, the bar remains true to the mint in terms of authenticity and character while being eye appealing to discerning investors and collectors!
