The reverse side of this gold coin features the American bald eagle perched on a bundle of arrows that is coiled by an olive branch. The majestic eagle flaunts its wings and superior posture. On either side of the eagle are the US mottos inscribed: “IN GOD WE TRUST” and “E PLURIBUS UNUM”, which stands for ‘Out of many, One.’ Other inscriptions on the reverse depict the country of issue and face value as “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. FIVE DOLLARS.”
