The Interesting Story of How Snake Became One of the 12 Animals!

In Chinese tradition, a tale is told that the snake came sixth in a race to determine the positions of lunar animals. The Jade Emperor invited all the animals to a race across a fast-flowing river that would determine the lunar animals in the same order they won. The snake, being wise, coiled itself to the Horse’s leg and covered most of the length, but at the end line, it jumped out, scaring the horse and clutching the sixth place.

Exhibiting significance and diversity, the 2025 1 oz Perth Lunar Year of the Snake Gold Coin, with its limited mintage, is a favorite of investors and collectors!
