The America the Beautiful (ATB) silver bullion coin series began in 2010, releasing 5 new coins each year. The series will run until at least 2021. The design duplicates exactly (though enlarged) each of the America the Beautiful Quarters. Each coin contains five troy ounce of .999 fine silver. This makes them the largest silver bullion coins ever issued by the United States Mint.
This series is highly prized by collectors and investors for the coin's unique size and weight, and striking designs. They are also much more than beautiful, investment bullion grade collectable coins. Each of the sites represented are true National treasures, having deep historical, cultural or natural significance.
This BOLD Set includes one coin each of the releases shown below.

The reverse design depicts the iconic El Capitan, which rises more than 3,000 feet above the valley floor and is the largest monolith of granite in the world. The well know natural resources found in the Park are so numerous, it is no wonder that annually, nearly four million people visit. This ATB coin nobly commemorates Yosemite by its striking design of El Capitan.
The reverse design features the Old Faithful geyser with a mature bull bison in the foreground. Although most widely known for Old Faithful, there are many other amazing natural resources in the Park. Encompassing Yellowstone River's headwaters, the Park's magnificent Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone and Yellowstone Falls as well as vast wilderness areas continue draw over 4.25 million visitors worldwide. This ATB coin proudly represents this amazing natural resource.
The reverse design features a view of the granaries above the Nankoweap Delta in Marble Canyon near the Colorado River. There is simply no adequate way to describe the sheer magnificence of the view this Canyon provides. The wonder of it draws nearly five million visitors annually, and it's safe to say, not one of them leaves disappointed. This ATB coin captures something of the massive scale of the Canyon's dimensions, as the cliff walls disappear into the horizon.
This reverse design depicts a view of Mount Hood with Lost Lake in the foreground, one of the Forest's four major lakes. Annually, over four million people are drawn here to enjoy the natural beauty and recreational areas. This is truly a beautiful Forest, and this ATB coin proudly honors it with its striking, iconic design.
The reverse design depicts the facade of the Hot Springs National Park headquarters building with a thermal fountain in the foreground. The headquarters was built in the Spanish colonial revival style and completed in 1936. This ATB coin is finely designed to capture a sense of the renowned examples of Gilded Age architecture of the Park's hot spring fed bathhouses.
