The America the Beautiful (ATB) silver bullion coin series began in 2010, releasing 5 new coins each year. The series will run until at least 2021. The design duplicates exactly (though enlarged) each of the America the Beautiful Quarters. Each coin contains five troy ounce of .999 fine silver. This makes them the largest silver bullion coins ever issued by the United States Mint.
This series is highly prized by collectors and investors for the coin's unique size and weight, and striking designs. They are also much more than beautiful, investment bullion grade collectable coins. Each of the sites represented are true National treasures, having deep historical, cultural or natural significance.
This BOLD Set includes one coin each of the releases shown below.

The reverse design features Lincoln Bridge crossing a meandering fresh stream. The bridge was dedicated in 1909 during the centennial celebration of Abraham Lincoln's birth. It quickly became an iconic feature of the Recreational area. Considered an "Oklahoma Oasis," Chickasaw National Recreation Area sits at the foothills of the Arbuckle Mountains, and is home to the very popular Little Niagara, Rock Creek, and Lake of the Arbuckles. This finely detailed ATB coin is like a personal invitation to experience the beauty and water recreation of this special place.
The reverse image depicts a Roosevelt elk standing on a gravel river bar of the Hoh River with a view of Mount Olympus in the background. Encompassing close to a million acres, this amazingly diverse wilderness forest and wildlife area also is rich with cultural heritage. This ATB coin finely captures a sense of the beauty of that diversity.
The reverse design depicts a classic view of the northeast slope of Mount Reynolds towering in the distance, while a mountain goat climbs over the rocky slopes of the Park's high country. This ATB coin displays the natural wildness of this amazing Park.
The reverse design depicts the 72nd Pennsylvania Infantry Monument, which is located on the battle line of the Union Army at Cemetery Ridge. The historical significance of the Civil War battle that took place at this site in July 1863 quickly became evident over the months that followed. This ATB coin captures both the natural beauty of the Park setting, as well as its historical significance.
The reverse design portrays the U.S.S. Cairo, an ironclad gunboat, on the Yazoo River as it served the U.S. Navy during the Civil War. In 1862, during operations on the Yazoo outside of Vicksburg, the gunboat was sunk by a mine. Interestingly, it was remotely detonated by volunteers. The Cairo was raised 100 years later, and finally restored. It has been on display since 1977 at Vicksburg National Military Park. This ATB coin is a fine representation of the U.S.S. Cairo under steam as it cruised the rivers.
