The America the Beautiful (ATB) silver bullion coin series began in 2010, releasing 5 new coins each year. The series will run until at least 2021. The design duplicates exactly (though enlarged) each of the America the Beautiful Quarters. Each coin contains five troy ounce of .999 fine silver. This makes them the largest silver bullion coins ever issued by the United States Mint.
This series is highly prized by collectors and investors for the coin’s unique size and weight, and striking designs. They are also much more than beautiful, investment bullion grade collectable coins. Each of the sites represented are true National treasures, having deep historical, cultural or natural significance.
This BOLD Set includes one coin each of the releases shown below.

- 2012 Silver 5 oz ATB Arcadia Maine
The reverse design captures the amazing cliffside view of Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse. Built in 1858, it marks the entrance to Bass Harbor. Looking up from the waters edge, the jagged rocky formations build up toward the sheer cliff, and then to the lighthouse base. This ATB coin is a beautifully designed representation of one of the most iconic sights located within the Park’s acreage.

- 2012 Silver 5 oz ATB El Yunque Puerto Rico
The reverse design captures the lush beauty and biologically diverse plant and wildlife of this tropical rain forest. Sitting atop a leaf is a Coqui tree frog, while a Puerto Rican parrot, clutching a woody vine, prominently fills the upper half of the coin. This species of parrot was selected to feature, as it is both unique to Puerto Rico and highly endangered. This is a beautifully styled ATB coin you are sure to treasure.

- 2012 Silver 5 oz ATB Hawaii Volcanoes
The reverse design depicts an eruption on the east rift of Kilauea Volcano, capturing the magnificent beauty of the volcano. Kilauea is one of the five volcanoes that comprise the island of Hawaii, and also the most active. Since 1983, it has continuously been in a state of eruption as it vents, primarily along the east rift. This ATB coin seeks to display not only the rugged beauty of the area, but also the magnificent display of power that is bound up in an active volcano.

- 2012 Silver 5 oz ATB Chaco Culture New Mexico
The reverse design captures with fine detail the amazing engineering and construction abilities of the ancestral Pueblos. Though built during the period of 850-1250 A.D., the remains of these massive buildings reveal remarkable skill. The Chaco Canyon National Monument was established in 1907, and is now maintained as the Chaco Culture National Historical Park. This very finely designed ATB coin is a wonderful commemoration to this important and fascinating historical site.

- 2012 Silver 5 oz ATB Denali Alaska
The reverse design features a stately Dall sheep standing upon treacherous rocky terrain, with Denali, the tallest peak in North America rising sharply in the background. The Park covers six million acres of natural, untamed Alaskan landscape. In this amazingly beautiful natural preserve, the wildlife is free to roam, making it truly a wilderness adventure. You will likely recall that the mountains name was changed in 2015 (after the release of this coin), from Mount McKinley to Denali, which means, “the Great One.” This is a beautiful coin, proudly honoring an even more beautiful place.
