The reverse depicts a remarkable scene featuring a beautifully detailed frontal view of a kookaburra in flight, wings fully spread. Every aspect of the bird's image is absolutely stunning! The background displays the wide variety of rural Australian habitats in which the kookaburra nests. As the mint notes, this includes national parks, botanical gardens, forested areas, as well as highly populated suburban areas. As with the obverse, the reverse also features the finest of individual antiquing, greatly enhancing the overall scene.
