This third release uncovers the feared and highly dangerous Desert Scorpion! The design is fiercely awesome and the fineness of detail is remarkable! This third of series, highly collectible, limited mintage 2021 1oz Silver RAM Australia Desert Scorpion BU coin is most worthy of its place among Australia's Most Dangerous!
As an Australian legal tender offering the obverse, common to the new series, displays the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth designed by Jody Clark. Inscriptions encircling the rim include "ELIZABETH II. AUSTRALIA 2022. 1 DOLLAR."
The reverse features of this 2022 1oz Silver RAM Australia Desert Scorpion BU are an outstanding action scene of a desert scorpion scurrying across the sandy Australian desert. The sun is displayed at the horizon, with its unrelenting blistering rays beating down on the sand.
The scorpion's large claws are extended forward, ready to take hold of its next meal. Its tail is curled up over its back, with its stinger poised to paralyze its catch as it tears it apart with its claws. Its sting is extremely effective in securing a meal, as well as quite painful to humans and beasts alike. Thankfully, the sting is not usually seriously damaging, as it is used by the scorpion in defense against larger animals (and humans) that get too close.
Stacked at the left rim at the horizon is displayed "DESERT SCORPION." in large bold type. Inscriptions at the bottom rim include, "1 oz .999 SILVER."
