Minted for Tokelau by the Pressburg Mint, the 2022 Silver Tokelau Magnum Opus 1 oz Proof is based on the principle of the ‘golden ratio,’ which states that two quantities are in the golden ratio if their ratio is the same as the ratio of their sum to the larger of the two quantities.

As a legal tender offering of Tokelau, the coin's obverse displays the Ian Rank-Broadly effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Inscriptions: "ELIZABETH II . TOKELAU 2022. 1 OZ FINE SILVER." Offset from the effigy of Her Majesty is a sphere with curved triangles that gives way to a pseudo-paisley design. This gives way to a cross-like pattern that features a similar triangle design. A solid layer precedes a star-shaped circle. Each progressive level is smaller than the one before it. The background features stylized pinwheel shapes.

The reverse side of the coin features a myriad of shapes that fit the parameters of the golden ratio. Three rectangles appear to be rotating on a common axis, and each contains a variety of shapes and designs. The background is filled with the same design as the obverse's background. Inscriptions are "MAGNUM OPUS" (inscribed on one side of each rectangle) and "5 DOLLARS." A Swarovski crystal is embedded at the intersection of the three rectangles.
