Following the basic design that first introduced the series, the featured image is presented in the style of a cut-glass mosaic. Lunar Year of thae Tiger

As a legal tender offering, the obverse displays a large image of the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Rwanda centered. Inscriptions encircle the rim, including "BANKI NKURU Y'U RWANDA AMAFARANGA MIRONGO ITANU." The face value of 50 Francs is also included.

The reverse features a large, remarkably fine cut-glass mosaic styled image of a tiger, ready to pounce, that fills the center field. The image prominently stands out by the use of the mix of textures applied. Both the tiger and the ground upon which it stands reflect the different textures, helping to distinguish the animal from the background. As with previous releases, the background image spills over into the rim band at the bottom. The Chinese character for the Year of the Tiger is displayed in a decorative inset at the top. The inscriptions within the rimband include "LUNAR OUNCE . 2022 . 1oz FINE SILVER 999." Also included within the background texture at the mid-upper left is "YEAR OF THE TIGER."
