Hera - Goddess of Women and Marriage

In ancient Greek mythology, Hera was worshiped as the Goddess of Women and Marriage. But that's not all! In addition to representing women and marriage, as Zeus's wife, she was also the Queen of the Olympians.

As a legal tender release by Tuvalu, the obverse displays the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Inscriptions encircling the rim include, "QUEEN ELIZABETH II . 1 oz 9999 Ag . 2022 . TUVALU . 1 DOLLAR."

The reverse of this awesome 2022 Tuvalu Gods of Olympus Hera 1 oz Silver BU edition depicts Hera wearing a polos crown, sitting on a throne in the Temple of Hera, and holding her lotus staff in her left hand. A lion and a peacock rest beside Hera on either side of the throne. The design includes the inscription "HERA" and The Perth Mint’s "P" mintmark.
