The obverse is common to all eight EC8 2018 releases. The inset features the Raphael Maklouf effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Distinctive laurels of evergreen shrubs frame the portrait on either side, nearly filling the center inset. A narrow band encircles the rim, which includes the inscriptions, "EASTERN CARIBBEAN CENTRAL BANK" at the top, and "1 oz .999 Gold . QUEEN ELIZABETH II . 10 DOLLARS" at the bottom rim.

The reverse features a seaplane gracefully landing on the tranquil, blue waters of the Caribbean Sea. Imagine the gentle island breezes lazily passing by, bringing the scents of the ocean and tropical vegetation. This is Saint Vincent & the Grenadines. Inscriptions within the narrow rim-band, include "St. Vincent & the Grenadines" in a flowing script at the top and "2018" at the bottom.
