Raised in Asgard under the tutelage of Odin, and eventually bound by the magical yoke of Gleipnir, Fenrir suffered unimaginable torment. According to prophecy, an earthquake will destroy Gleipnir, and the freed Fenrir will slay Odin in a great battle between gods and giants, giving the beast eternal memory."

The obverse features Fenrir's head and a portion of its body. The fine detail displayed in the design is meticulous! There is no question regarding the beast's ferocity, as it is clearly depicted in its menacing expression and the razor-sharpness of its exposed teeth, ready to shred any competing beast or warrior that would dare to stand against it.

The creature's head and body feature Chameleon coating that results in the image shimmering in different colors as the incident lighting shines on the piece. The result is incredibly effective as the image stands out against the background. Inscriptions include "FENRIR" at the right rim, and " 2 oz Ag 999.9" near its left leg.

The reverse begins where the obverse ends. Whereas the obverse image depicts the wolf's head and half of its torso ending at the bottom rim, the reverse picks it up at the top rim, displaying the rest of its body to the complete design.
