The Eastern Caribbean EC8 Island Series

The obverse is common to all eight EC8 2022 releases. The inset features the Raphael Maklouf effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Distinctive laurels of evergreen shrubs frame the portrait on either side, nearly filling the center inset. A narrow band encircles the rim, which includes the inscriptions, "EASTERN CARIBBEAN CENTRAL BANK" at the top, and "1 oz .999 Silver . QUEEN ELIZABETH II . TWO DOLLARS" at the bottom rim.

The reverse features a stylized nutmeg tree, with three nutmeg seeds forming an invisible triangle among the branches. The hills roll in the background and the foreground, and the nutmeg leaves on either side of the tree rest comfortably. Inscriptions include "GRENADA" in large type at the top and "2022." The overall design is certain to be well received!
