We were all extremely pleased with the re-introduction of the series in 2020 with a pair of 1 oz silver editions (BU and antiqued) featuring Zeus. We now have the outstanding opportunity to buy up into the ongoing series with this striking, low-mintage, highly-collectible sixth release in the series: the 2022 1 oz Silver Tuvalu Gods of Olympus: Aphrodite BU Coin. Aphrodite: Goddess of Love

In ancient Greek mythology, Aphrodite was worshipped as the goddess of love, pleasure and, beauty, exciting passion in the hearts of gods and men.

The design of this new release is truly incredible. As a legal tender release by Tuvalu, the obverse displays the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Inscriptions encircling the rim are: "QUEEN ELIZABETH II . 1 oz 9999 Ag . 2022. TUVALU . 1 DOLLAR."

The reverse depicts Aphrodite sitting on the beach at Aphrodite’s Rock surrounded by scallop shells, holding a mirror in her left hand with a dove perched on her right hand. She is accompanied by a swan and three dolphins, with the ocean and clouds in the background. The inscriptions is "APHRODITE."
