2023 Silver 1/4 oz Armenia Noah's Ark BU

This 2023 Silver 1/4 oz Armenia Noah's Ark BU coin displays a beautifully designed, detailed biblical scene. The scene, of course, is that described in Genesis chapter 8, and is absolutely stunning!

The obverse displays the finely-detail Republic of Armenia Coat of Arms, with the 1/4 oz weight, 999 purity, year of release, and the denomination of 100 Dram. The rim band includes the inscription "REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA" in English at the bottom, and in Armenian at the top.

The reverse prominently features the dove that was released from the ark after the rain stopped, and the sun returned. She returns bearing a fresh olive branch, proving that the flood waters had begun to recede. The waves have calmed significantly, although they continue to wash against the ark. The water has receded to again show the peaks of the mountain ranges in the distance. The very welcome sun is brightly rising above the peaks.

Every element in the design is masterfully detailed, using different textures. The scene also has a sense of depth in how each aspect is positioned. The narrow rim band includes "NOAH'S ARK" in both English and Armenian.
