Custom Minted in The United States of America by SilverTowne Mint, this horizontal-oriented design returns us to much earlier time. Once again SilverTowne makes available the traditional Eagle and Shield design that came to be a feature from their earliest days. The retro-look of these new Eagle 1 oz silver bars is a great addition to the Eagle product line!

The horizontal-oriented design fills the entire obverse with the traditional bald eagle with wings fully outstretched and perched on a shield displaying the stars and stripes. A flowing banner streams from the eagle's open beak with the SilverTowne script-style logo to the left, and to the right, the inscriptions "1 OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER." The Eagle clutches in its right talons a group of arrows, and in its left an olive branch. The reverse displays the traditional waffle-pattern, with an elongated horizontal inset that features the script-style SilverTowne logo and the traditional Prospector and pack-donkey design.
