The Asahi Silver Liberty Bell round's obverse showcases an elevated, frosted image of the Liberty Bell set against a frosted background. A banner with the triumphant declaration "LIBERTY" is proudly hung over the dome. The first public reading of the Declaration of Independence occurred in 1976, and the numbers "17" and "76" are divided by the bell. The cracked bell's body is decorated with three stars and three stripes.

A latent image security feature on the reverse shows two variations: stars at one angle and stripes within a larger star. A bald eagle's silhouette can be seen in the star at an angle. The large star's points are wreathed in a banner that reads "E PLURIBUS UNUM". The weight, Asahi Mint Mark, and metal purity are inscribed on the coin's edge: "1 TROY OUNCE," "999 FINE SILVER," and the Asahi Mint Mark.
