The obverse side of the gold bar depicts the symbolic representation of the significance of the dragon and the Lunar cycle. The inscriptions surrounding the depiction are “PAMP SUISSE 1 oz GOLD 999.9,” the unique serial number, and assayer mark.
The reverse of the 2024 1 oz PAMP Lunar Dragon Gold Bar features the majestic and fearsome Azure dragon in a striking pose with a twisted body and pointed claws. The Chinese character for ‘Dragon’ is also depicted at the bottom left of the bar.
The obverse side of the 2024 1 oz PAMP Lunar Dragon Gold Bar is a symbolic design depicting Chinese traditional and historical aspects. The moon in the center is surrounded by twelve lunar animals as stars. Each of the stars is assigned a two hour window of the day, where the Dragon is placed fifth. It is believed that the Dragon is the most powerful between 7 and 9 am and the fifth position is engraved with the Chinese characters for 8 am.
