BOLD is excited to present the 1 oz Arkansas State Flag Silver Bar from the Scottsdale Mint as an authorized dealer. This silver bar is struck in stunning .999 pure silver and features the identifying marks and the symbolic Arkansas state flag, also known as the Diamond flag.
The 1 oz Arkansas Country Flag Silver Bar’s obverse bears the Arkansas flag in a horizontal orientation. The flag has a plethora of symbolism. The stunning colored finish brings out the details of the flag without compromising the pure silver content.
The reverse features the identifying marks that represent purity and weight. The Mint’s iconic Crowned Lion logo is engraved vertically to the right of the bar, while “SCOTTSDALE MINT” is imprinted to the left. The inscription for the identifying marks is “1 TROY OZ FINE SILVER .999.”
The Arkansas Flag, or the Diamond flag, is filled with symbolism and historical events. The flag's base canvas is a bright red background. In the center, a large white diamond-shaped structure has a thick blue edge with stars (25). These stars refer to Arkansas’s position as the 25th state to join the union. Inside the diamond are four stars along with the inscription “ARKANSAS.” The star above the imprint signifies the Confederacy on May 18, 1861, when Arkansas was admitted. The three stars below further have three separate meanings:
1. Arkansas belonged to France, Spain, and the US.
2. The Louisiana Purchase, signed in 1803, brought Arkansas to the USA.
3. Three States: Louisiana, Missouri, and Arkansas, were formed after the Purchase.
