As a legal tender offering by Fiji, the obverse displays the highly distinctive coat of arms of the Fijian Islands. Inscriptions include, "FIJI 2022. 1oz .999 FINE SILVER. 50 Cents."

As this series begins to unfold, there will be a variety of dogs featured in different settings. The reverse depicts a dog leaping towards the viewer with its snout happily open and its tail raised. Their front paws are crossed in the air while he pushes off with powerful hind legs, ready for the next leap. The background is a mountain backdrop, the slopes of which rise steeply to the right. On the right side, on a hill in front of the mountains, a house nestles against the mountainside. The single inscription at the upper right rim introduces the series, "Dogs" in a fun script.
