The obverse presents an original design depicting a portrait of the artist himself and the theme of this collectible, Cafe Terrace at Night, in a currency note style as the design of the legal tender, featuring the Coat of Arms du Tchad.

The reverse is a reproduction of the famous painting, Cafe Terrace at Night. The high-relief and 3D life-like image of Van Goh’s art is presented vividly. The mint notes: "The reverse of this coin depicts the beautiful painting of Cafe Terrace at Night, clear and vivid with a ratio aspect that is loyal to the original piece.
