The Eastern Caribbean EC8 Island Series

The obverse is common to all eight EC8 2022 releases. The inset features the Raphael Maklouf effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Distinctive laurels of evergreen shrubs frame the portrait on either side, nearly filling the center inset. A narrow band encircles the rim, which includes the inscriptions, "EASTERN CARIBBEAN CENTRAL BANK" at the top, and "1 oz .9999 Gold . QUEEN ELIZABETH II . TEN DOLLARS" at the bottom rim.

The reverse is filled with a wonderfully colorized pair of eels, swimming casually in the Caribbean Sea. The eels are featured in a light green that fades into a greenish turquoise. Stylized waves dominate the background, with an outline of Anguilla and two palm trees. More stylized waves encircle the rim. Inscriptions include "ANGUILLA" in large type at the top and "2022." The overall design is certain to be well received!

This highly-popular series has a very limited mintage of only 100 per release. Its fresh design is also a stunning addition to the overall series. You should not delay!
