The series includes magnificent bullion offerings from the eight Eastern Caribbean Island nations members. Antigua and Barbuda, Anguilla, the Commonwealth of Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, Saint Kitts, Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent, and the Grenadines are all included. This intriguing 2021 1 oz Gold EC8 St Lucia Gold Ginger Flower Colored Proof is the seventh 2021 edition to be released.

A Caribbean Island Paradise

St. Lucia, a gorgeous Eastern Caribbean island, gained independence in 1979 and joined the Commonwealth of Nations. This fantastic bullion coin release is made possible by ECCB's collaboration with Scottsdale Mint, which is now a part of the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank group.

The reverse of the 2021 EC8 St. Lucia coin represents the herbaceous perennial plant Etlingera elatior (better known as the ginger flower). The full-color ginger flower takes center stage against a tropical backdrop. "ST. LUCIA. 2021," the inscriptions read. A tropical-themed border rings the design.

The obverse of all eight EC8 2021 releases is the same. The Raphael Maklouf effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II appears in the inset. On either side, distinctive laurels of evergreen shrubs frame the portrait, almost filling the center inset. The rim is surrounded by a narrow band that bears the inscriptions "EASTERN CARIBBEAN CENTRAL BANK" at the top and "1 oz.999 Gold. QUEEN ELIZABETH II. TEN DOLLARS" at the bottom.

This trendy Gold BU edition has a mintage of only 100 per release. Its innovative design is also an eye-catching addition to the overall series.
