The obverse of this 2022 Tokelau ICON: Marilyn Monroe 1oz Silver Prooflike coin features a depiction of Andy Warhol's beloved portrait of Marilyn Monroe. Overlaying the image of Marilyn Monroe in the center field is a series of lines, forming geometric patterns. When the coin is angled in the light, the hidden word "ICON" is revealed either reversed out of the image or superimposed.

As a legal tender offering of Tokelau, the coin's reverse displays the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The background depicts with a pattern of concentric circles, extending from the rim to the Queen's effigy which makes the effigy even more prominent. Inscriptions include, "TOKELAU . 5 DOLLARS . 2022 . 1 OZ FINE SILVER . ELIZABETH II."
