Adolph Weinman designs the obverse of the 2024-W 1 oz America Silver Eagle Coin and depicts the Walking Liberty portrayal. The Lady walks in front of the rising sun while displaying a welcoming gesture with her right hand and holding an olive branch in the other, symbolizing peace. The effigy is surrounded by the inscriptions of “LIBERTY” and the motto of the US, “In God We Trust ''. Below the portrayal is the year 2024 engraved.
The reverse of the coin includes the American bald eagle in the center with the identifying marks surrounding it. This design is also termed the Type 2 American Eagle design by Emily Damstra, introduced in 2021. The effigy is surrounded by the identifying marks for the country of issue, “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", the face value, “ONE DOLLAR", and the purity, “1OZ. FINE SILVER". The motto of the US, “E PLURIBUS UNUM", is also featured.
