This Buffalo 5 oz Silver Bar is modeled after the original Indian head and Buffalo designs from Buffalo Nickels (also known as Indian Head Nickels), which were minted by the US Mint from 1913-1938. Displayed on the obverse in a vertical display is the Indian head profile filling the center field, with "Liberty" inscribed above, and the weight and purity below. The reverse features the buffalo filling the center, with "United States of America" above, and "In God We Trust" below.
