The Eastern Caribbean EC8 Island Series

The obverse is common to all eight EC8 2018 releases. The inset features the Raphael Maklouf effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Distinctive laurels of evergreen shrubs frame the portrait on either side, nearly filling the center inset. A narrow band encircles the rim, which includes the inscriptions, "EASTERN CARIBBEAN CENTRAL BANK" at the top, and "1 oz .999 Silver . QUEEN ELIZABETH II . TWO DOLLARS" at the bottom rim.

The reverse is filled with a pair of eels, swimming casually in the Caribbean Sea. Stylized waves dominate the background, with an outline of Anguilla and two palm trees. More stylized waves encircle the rim. Inscriptions include "ANGUILLA" in large type at the top and "2022." The overall design is certain to be well received!
