The Eastern Caribbean EC8 Island Series

The obverse of all eight EC8 2018 releases is the same. The Raphael Maklouf effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is featured in the inset. On either side, distinctive laurels of evergreen shrubs frame the portrait, nearly filling the center inset. The rim is surrounded by a narrow band with the inscriptions "EASTERN CARIBBEAN CENTRAL BANK" at the top and "1 oz.999 Silver. QUEEN ELIZABETH II. TWO DOLLARS" at the bottom.

The reverse features a pair of eels swimming leisurely in the Caribbean Sea. The background is dominated by stylized waves, with an outline of Anguilla and two palm trees. The rim is surrounded by more stylized waves. Top inscriptions involve "ANGUILLA" in large type and "2022." The overall design will undoubtedly be well received!
