The Eastern Caribbean 2022 Bullion Coin Program is gaining international traction. • The Eastern Caribbean Central Bank backs it up as legal tender.
• It is not packaged in a capsule.

The Eastern Caribbean EC8 Island Series

The obverse of all eight EC8 2022 releases is the same. The Raphael Maklouf effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is featured in the inset. On either side, unique laurels of evergreen shrubs frame the portrait, nearly filling the center inset. The rim is surrounded by a narrow band with the inscriptions "EASTERN CARIBBEAN CENTRAL BANK" at the top and "1 oz.999 Silver. QUEEN ELIZABETH II. TWO DOLLARS" at the bottom.

On the reverse, a stylized nutmeg tree with three nutmeg seeds establishing an invisible triangle among the branches is depicted. The hills roll in the background and foreground, and the nutmeg leaves rest comfortably on either side of the tree. Top inscriptions include "GRENADA" in large type and "2022." The overall design will undoubtedly be well received!
