Bonnie and Clyde. The couple and their gang were mostly known for bank robberies, however, they also robbed stores, gas stations, and funeral homes while traveling through America. Constantly chased by police, they were very often under fire and had to keep running and constantly change their location. After a series of robberies and murders, Bonnie and Clyde were finally ambushed and shot to death in Bienville Parish, Louisiana. The couple and their gang are believed to have murdered at least nine law enforcement officers and four civilians. Love, Robbery, and Murder.

As a legal tender offering, the obverse of the coin displays the distinctive Coat of Arms of Niue set against a revolver drum with 24k gold-plated bullets. A hole is seen in the lower left chamber. Inscriptions include, "NIUE . 5 DOLLARS . 2022."

The reverse features Bonnie and Clyde, with Bonnie holding two revolvers and Clyde holding a shotgun. There are also three policemen in the background who hold them at gunpoint apart from the car they were using during their robberies. It makes the whole scene is looking quite dynamic. Accentuating this scene is a bullet hole in the lower right. " BONNIE & CLYDE" is inscribed along the top.

The reverse of the coin remains the same for all coins in the series (apart from the year of issue that changes) and shows an eight-chambered revolver barrel with four 9mm caliber bullets. Each of the bullets has been gilded with 24-karat gold.

This antiqued, ultra-high relief coin has an extremely limited mintage of 500, so don't delay. A regular bullion coin is a nice addition to any collection, but don't 'rob' yourself of the opportunity to own one with the infamous Bonnie and Clyde on it!
