The obverse displays a right-facing profile of Queen Elizabeth II, uniquely presented against a leopard-print background. Encircling the rim are the inscriptions, "ELIZABETH II . 2020 . FIVE CEDIS . REPUBLIC OF GHANA."

The reverse features a terrifyingly beautiful African Leopard, highly alert and protective over the remains of his latest prey. The leopard's large image dominates the scene, and the intricate detail captured is truly incredible! The background pictures a mixture of rising hills and plains stretching to the horizon. Inscriptions include, "AFRICAN LEOPARD" at the top rim, and the one ounce weight and 999 silver fineness at the left. As a great finishing touch, the release date of 2020 is displayed at the right within a highly polished circular inset, free of texture. The stunning visual effect is that of the sun rising over the distant hill.
