The Shoebill Stork

The obverse displays the Presidential Seal of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Encircling the rim are the inscriptions, "REPUBLIQUE DEMOCRATIQUE DU CONGO . 2021 1000 FRANCS."

The reverse features a terrifyingly beautiful frontal shot of a shoebill stork's head. Its gaze pentrates you and follows you as you move the coin around. A broken-up circle of six lines encircles most of the stork. Inscribed above the stork is "SHOEBILL STORK," and "2021" and "1 TROZ OUNCE .999 FINE SILVER" are on either side of it.
